Clemente De Lucia is a senior economist at BNP Paribas (CIB) Economic and Research Department in Paris since October 2006. He is in charge of monitoring Eurozone developments with particular focus on the ECB monetary policy. His occupation fields are macroeconomics, macroeconemetrics, applied economics and monetary policy. Prior to join BNP Paribas, Clemente worked as economist (civil servant) at the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) in Rome (Italy) since 2005. At the MEF he was working in the unit charged of setting prices for firms that have their business in regulated sectors. Before joining the MEF, he was a research fellow at the ISAE (Institute for Studies and Economic Analysis) in Rome since 2002. At ISAE he was in charge of monitoring Latin American countries and he carried on more structural issues mainly concerning international economics, exchange rates and labor market.
